Elena Tillman

 

Elena, joins us from Massachusetts, has been a competitor in the New England Regional Figure Skating Championships and Bay State Winter Games multiple times since 2002. She has been skating competitively for 13 years currently skating at the Junior Freestyle level. Elena was coached by Laura Beardsley and Debbie Adams (students of the world-renowned coach Gustave Lussi) in Cromwell and Simsbury, Connecticut at the International Skating Center of Connecticut. Skaters such as Sasha Cohen, Ekaterina Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov, Viktor Petrenko, Oksana Baiul, Alexei Yagudin, and Johnny Weir have trained. 
 
Elena has been coaching students of all ages since 2002. Throughout college she has remained dedicated to the sport and passionate about passing on her knowledge through coaching.  She believes strongly in incorporating good form and technique, mental toughness, and positive attitude into coaching figure skating. 
 
Elena is currently a Junior at Texas A&M University and has a double major in Psychology and Spanish.
