  • Arctic Wolf Introduces New Director of Marketing

Arctic Wolf Ice Center, a state-of-the-art facility in College Station, named recent Texas A&M graduate Chrissy Felice as its new director of marketing. Dale Elder, general manager of the Arctic Wolf, made the announcement that Ms. Felice joins the staff June 19.

"We are delighted on two fronts to have Chrissy join our work family as a graduate of Texas A&M," Elder said. "One, she has familiarity and experience within the region that Arctic Wolf serves. And two, it's always feels good to keep an Aggie graduate in the immediate community."

Ms. Felice hails from New Caney, a suburb of Houston, and she accepted her diploma last month at A&M with a major in political science and a minor in sociology. "I've worked in my mother's insurance agency, and on many events and marketing ventures there and through my church's ministry, so that all came together to excite me about this career opportunity," she said.

During her college years, Ms. Felice served as president of the college ministry for the Fellowship Church and as a small-group leader for that ministry in College Station. She also served during her final semester as an intern for the Brazos Valley Community Action Agency, assisting the head of marketing and development.

At Arctic Wolf the director of marketing oversees all sales and marketing initiatives, assists in coordination of special events and projects, and manages the sales strategy for partnerships in advertising and sponsorships of the Ice Center's multifaceted activities.

"I'm super excited by the close-knit family atmosphere on the staff," Ms. Felice said. "The opportunities for growth in the community at-large and in the Texas A&M community are so strong, even beyond ice skating."

For example, GridWorks in College Station will utilize the Arctic Wolf as an extraordinary setting for staging team-building and leadership sessions. In addition to ice skating - which involves figure skaters, hockey leagues, and open skating, along with broomball and other action - the Arctic Wolf also provides rock wall climbing, group meeting space, birthday and other celebration party rooms, Zamboni training, and a variety of additional activities.

"We'll have Chrissy committed to deep community involvement in everything we have happening at the center," Elder commented.

She said, "I'm excited to explore all the possibilities and see what all we can accomplish."
